Springfield Echelon Performance Compensator

In depth review ahead I suppose I should start at installation: Easily installed, only minor setback was trying to find the right Allen wrench (It does not come with one). It has instructions on the purchase page, I recommend them highly unless you've installed one before (This is my first). I used some loctite on the barrel threads and the two set screws on the sides, let it cure for 24h, and then went to the range with it. Function: This thing made my gun into a goddamn point and click adventure game. With proper trigger and recoil control strategies in place, the reticle for my red dot rarely ever moved outside of my view. One thing to note; if you thought your gun was loud before, prepare, because it is much louder now. All in all, it functions flawlessly with a completely OEM Echelon recoil spring and guide rod. I had ONE malfunction, but that round felt far below the others in terms of power either way, if it wasn't for the fresh hole in a new target I might've worried about a squib load. But with that particular round being underpowered, it caused a stovepipe. Malfunction was cleared and it ran great through another whole box of the same ammo. Tldr- Great Comp, would gladly get one for my other guns.

Ordered on Sunday, shipped on Monday. Looks good on the gun. Have not put a bullet through it yet but have high hopes!!

First off, the design of this compensator is fantastic, I love how seamlessly it flows into the rest of the slide. As for the performance, the difference was night and day. I could immediately notice a reduction in recoil. It was incredibly easy to make follow up shots and there was almost no kick at all. Not to mention it runs flawlessly with a stock recoil spring and a red dot mounted as well. Overall an extremely impressive compensator.

Very impressed with this compensator. I have it on my Echelon paired with an Acro and X300 and it feels even better now. Will definitely buy the magwell and base plates for my magazines and I'll be all set.

Fits perfect, great value, good material and looks awesome. Came with extra little screws, though would have been nice of it would have included an allen wrench that fits.

Hands down flawless. I ordered it, it came in like 3 days. I was smart used blue lock tight and torqued it down. It ran flawless on a stock echelon. Looks phenomenal. It reduces recoil well without being huge. I shot 750 rounds through it for a YouTube video and it work. It just works. Much love for the company they make great stuff.

I received my compensator for my echelon and quickly noticed something was very wrong with one of the set screws. I emailed Rob and he called me and said he looked at the pictures and could tell somehow the wrong set screw got placed in the compensator. He said don't worry about it and that he was sending me a brand new compensator no questions asked. He even sent it super fast shipping. This is the type of company that makes me a life long customer. Can't be Patriot CNC!! Outstanding!
